Louie Da’ Lobster
Louie Da’ Lobster is the soul of New Orleans. When this ragin’ Cajun is ready to party, everyone is invited. He cooks up the meanest Seaweed Gumbo this side of the bayou. He’s very proud to be everyone’s favorite Creole cook. However, Louie runs a very tight kitchen making him very demanding. His good “old-fashioned” Fish Frys have to be just perfect. Only Nick The Shrimp can put up with his persnickety ways. You can imagine the roar of overheated discussions when they’re left alone for too long. Some suggest that shouting can be heard as those two argue over ingredients. But in the end they come to a mouth-wateringly scrumptious compromise!
Louie may have a hard and crotchety exterior but he’s really just an ol’ softy inside. He’s certainly had his share of heartache. He’s loved and lost many times, and his friends find his stories of his days on the Bayou great comfort.
When he’s not cookin’ something up on the fire, he’s heating up the dance floor at the Seaweed Shack! He can be found many nights up on that stage blowing his little claws off on saxophone in Holly Mackerel’s band the “Neptoons”. Louie is quite the instrumentalist; he can blow any kind of horn like a pro. You should see how his cheeks turn into round little blowfish with each note. Always a hit with the crowds, Louie is everyone’s favorite crotchety crustacean!
